Alana Stevenson, MS Bio ed. is a professional Cat & Dog Behaviorist, Dog Trainer, and Animal Massage Therapist. She has a Master of Science in Biology ed. and has been helping clients resolve dog & cat behavioral issues for 9 years.

Alana is the author of two books on dog training and behavior: The Right Way the First Time: Teaching Your Dog Kindly and Humanely, and Training Your Dog the Humane Way: Simple Teaching Tips for Resolving Problem Behaviors and Raising a Happy Dog. Both are available online and through her website.

Alana's training & behavior modification techniques are humane and based on science and how animals learn. Her articles on animal behavior and behavior modification have appeared in American Dog, NOVADog Magazine-Spring, and NOVADog Magazine-Summer, Animal Wellness Magazine, the U.K.-based K9 Magazine, and Dog Living. Alana has been featured as a pet expert on Capital News 9 and was featured on an episode of Chronicle TV New England. She has been involved in animal advocacy and protection for over 23 years. She is very supportive of animal rescue and adoption. Her goals are to restore the relationships people have with their pets, to teach people how to resolve behavioral problems humanely, and to prevent animals from being rehomed or abandoned at shelters.
