Cat Behavior Consults

Cat behavior consults help you to resolve cat behavior problems such as fear, aggression, and anxiety. There is help for you and your kitty! Failure to use the litter box or problem urination, aggression to other kitties, fear of strangers, scratching on your furniture, and over-zealous play behaviors -- including biting your ankles or climbing you like a tree -- are best addressed with a behavior consultation.
Consults are about two to two and a half hours. Before the consultation, Alana will send you a questionnaire to complete on your kitty so she can get a behavioral history. After determining what is happening and what people have done prior to speaking with her, she provides people with basic information to remedy and improve behavior problems correctly using principles and approaches based on science and psychology. All methods are humane.
Behavioral consultations are scheduled by appointment. Follow up correspondence by telephone and email is included and provided for up to two months after the consult. Deposits are required to hold appointment times and are nonrefundable.
