Dog Behavior Consultations

Dog with toy Dog behavior consults help you to manage, improve, and resolve behaviors stemming from fear, aggression, and anxiety. There is help for you and your dog! Lunging at people or dogs on leash, interdog aggression, fear of people, generalized anxiety, separation anxiety, excessive barking, guarding objects, lunging at bicyclists, skateboarders, or joggers, introducing your dog to a baby, and introducing your dog to kitties are best addressed with a behavior consult.

Consults are about three hours. Before the consultation, Alana will send you a questionnaire and behavior screen to complete on your dog so she can get a behavioral history & background. After determining what is happening and what people have done prior to speaking with her, she provides clients with the tools they need to manage, improve, and resolve behavior problems using principles and approaches based in science and psychology. All methods are humane.

Behavior consultations are scheduled by appointment. Follow up correspondence by telephone and email is included and provided for up to one month after the consult. Deposits are required to hold appointment times.
Deposits are nonrefundable.
