Internships
Alana accepts interns on a case by case basis. There are fees for interning. You must want to help animals, be professional, and be committed to embracing compassionate behavior modification techniques. Alana will teach you skills you need to be a good trainer and to help people remedy dog and cat behavior problems. A college degree is preferred and a background in science, psychology, or sociology is recommended. Interning fees vary according to how much time Alana expects to spend with you and on the goals you have upon completing the internship. You must love animals, be reliable, committed to learning, and ethically principled.
It is at Alana's discretion to cancel internships at any time and refunds will not be given. Internship fees are strictly nonrefundable and are prepaid. Failure to complete the internship, not showing up, repeated cancellations, rude or disrespectful behavior, cruelty to animals, causing clients to complain, and failure to abide by humane training and behavior modification techniques are all reasons why an internship will be terminated.
