Agnes
“Things are so good with Agnes.”
“She’s been much much sweeter! I’ve been putting my arms under blankets until she focuses her attention elsewhere. I rearranged my living room…. and She seems to LOVE it!…I also bought the types of toys you recommended…I’m keeping the dry food bowl full. I’ve been talking to her and playing with her more. I’ve been able to bring over friends (all separately) and she did GREAT! My friends followed what I said and she didn’t even attempt to bite any of them!”
“Things are so good with Agnes. Thank you again for all of your help 🙂 Agnes is such a happy girl now!” ~ Hannah Russell & Agnes, Boston, MA
Massimo
“…things are great—you are a genius!”
Massimo and I are doing great. I can’t tell you how much your expertise has changed our relationship for the better. Changing our normal patterns has helped a lot, and thrown his mind off of what he “usually” does. The toys have been instrumental in this. He LOVES his fishing rod with the small attachments and can play much longer than he usually does. There was one attack in the bathroom, but I was able to keep my cool and not react and I think it shocked him! We took our first trip out with his harness and leash to the front patio yesterday and you could see his little mind twirling 🙂 I still need to get him those tasty treats, but all and all, things are great—you are a genius! ~ Laura Scaduto & Massimo, Washington, D.C.
Sam
“I highly recommend Alana Stevenson…”
I highly recommend Alana Stevenson to anyone having trouble with an aggressive or rambunctious cat or kitten. Ms. Stevenson helped me address several issues I was having with my kitten Sam, who was about six months old at the time of her visit. She was gentle with Sam, even when he was biting. Her practical tips on how to work through Sam’s behavior issues helped me to limit his biting, make sure he had plenty of playtime and appropriate toys, and eventually got Sam to sleep through the night on my bed.
Ms. Stevenson’s reassuring demeanor, innovative suggestions for dealing with behavior issues, and clear fondness for working humanely with animals made her a great choice to help with Sam. Sam and I are currently having a great time together, and we are both happy Ms. Stevenson was there to help along the way! ~ Kate Brogan & Sam, North Carolina
Bomie
“…Bomie has been showing dramatic improvement!”
I’m excited to let you know that Bomie has been showing dramatic improvement. Good news is that Bomie seems calmer/happier and uses litter boxes more often. His spraying, which used to be uncontrollably excessive, seems more in control. He also purrs and snuggles up to me – which is what makes me think that Bomie has been happier, Even a month ago, I was literally crying out of stress, but these days, I’m so glad that we reached out to you again and put in more effort to tackle this issue. Bomie is just too adorable to give away to someone else anyway.
~ Rachel Oh & Bomie, California
Lewis
“Thank you so much for your guidance and role in helping improve Lewis’s quality of life.”
In February, you came to my apartment to assess and give guidance on how to socialize Lewis, our blind, feral cat. I wanted to let you know that with much patience and many treats, Lewis is a relaxed, affectionate, and playful cat, and is a joy to have. There are still times when he’s surprised or unsure of his surroundings and will hiss or hide, but it’s understandable, and overall he is so much more confident and relaxed than he was when I first took him in. It’s wonderful to see the change, especially when he is playing, or relaxing out in the open. Thank you so much for your guidance and role in helping improve Lewis’s quality of life.
~ Christine McKinnon & Lewis, New York
Smiity
“It definitely helped me bond and not give up on my cat.”
I just wanted to give you an update on Smiity. He has been an absolute joy and angel. He is a little over a year old now and has been an amazing companion. I just want to thank you again for your time and advice. It definitely helped me bond and not give up on my cat. I wouldn’t trade him for anything! ~ Monika Hanreich & Smiity, Florida
MiYammo
“…thank you for all your help with my cat.”
Just wanted to write to thank you for all your help with my cat. MiYammo has not only used her litter box exclusively since you advised me on changing the box, but she is also visibly a happier cat. She has been purring more often than not for the past few weeks. Her coat is super shiny and healthy thanks to the bonito flakes you recommended.
I got a new couch about two weeks ago, and she has taken it over as a napping and cuddling place— and NOT a litter box—so I am so happy.
~ Liz Clayman & MiYammo, Brooklyn, New York
Gingerbread & Violet
“…Your suggestions have made a huge difference.”
Wow. We can leave them alone with no safety issues and don’t have to worry about coming home to any injured kitties. These two girls now chase and play fight (and sometimes squabble). They sleep on the bed with us at night. They sniff each other’s noses and tails. And look how close they are comfortable being! Both are out all day and Violet is no longer in her separate room at all. Violet has taught Gingerbread how to play chase! Gingerbread willingly turns her back on Violet and both girls are hunting birds off their perches.
~ Bethany Steuer, Violet & Gingerbread, Albany, NY
Ernie & Gunther
“…and we’re so thankful for the help you’ve given us.”
We wanted to send you a quick update (it’s a good one!). As of last weekend, Gunther and Ernie have finally decided to get along, and they’re now able to co-exist in the apartment with no major issues. There’s a few squabbles here and there, but they’re easily managed. We’re even able to sleep with both of them on our bed. We could not have gotten to this point without you! We’re going to continue implementing all the tools you’ve given us, and we’re so thankful for the help you’ve given us. ~ Natalie Boehnke and Brice Curtin, Ernie & Gunther, Massachusetts
Kip & Amber
“Just thought you might like to know they are still doing great!!!!”
A number of years ago now, you helped me with some transferred agression issues with my kitties. Just thought you might like to know they are still doing great!!!!
~ Lori Schaepe, Kip & Amber, New Hampshire
Bunny & Crick
“thanks so much for your help, we wouldn’t be where we are otherwise.”
“Just wanted to give you a quick update about the cats since you helped us so much to get them better. They are back to normal as they used to be. No aggression happened for the last year, that is great.
Delphina & Cecilia
“It’s a big change in Delphina’s behavior and it’s so nice to see.”
Delphina and Cecilia absolutely LOVE the cat tree in this location. Delphina specifically hangs out on top so much more. And she has been out while our toddler is playing on the floor and it’s so nice to have the whole family together. It’s a big change in Delphina’s behavior and it’s so nice to see…Also Delphina has not peed on the rug! ~ Nikole Grad Pool, Delphina & Cecilia, Vermont
Lily & Max
“We haven’t seen any cord chewing at all.”
Things have been going quite well with Lily since your visit. We haven’t seen any cord chewing at all. We actually just got back last night from a week’s vacation. While we were gone we gave them free reign of the house and had no chewing of plants or cords. So, we are quite pleased with how things are going. We also have changed our behavior and never yell at them when they jump on the table or counter. We just remove them with no eye contact and redirect to something else. So far so good! Thanks so much for your consultation and concern for the cats.

“Working with Alana was truly game-changing…”
Working with Alana was truly game-changing for our family, struggling to integrate 2 feisty Siamese cats. We had tried many different approaches prior to meeting Alana with no success and were at the brink of starting to consider re-homing one of our kitties as we were at our wits end. Alana was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and over the course of a few sessions we were able to successfully integrate them after 4 long months of separation. We will always be so grateful for her guidance and counsel — she has been fantastic to work with and the peace in our home is restored. We love both kitties and are so happy they can get along so well! ~ Appleton Family, Boston Massachusetts
Multiple Cats
“…Alana has been invaluable to us.”
I was very lucky to have found Alana for behavioral advice for my cats! We have many kitties in our house and Alana has been invaluable to us. We worked on getting cats to stop fighting and be better companions to each other. Alana was a huge help to us with inappropriate marking.
We worked on re-designing space in the barn adjacent to our house for amazing cat space! In the barn, Alana advised us on vertical surfaces, cat trees, litter box positioning, privacy areas and indoor enclosures which allow the cats to be happy and keep a comfortable distance from each other. In the house, we went over different rooms and furniture arrangements, as well as litter boxes and water placement to create comfortable cat areas. When needed, with cat changes and other life events, we revisit these areas and rearrange them as appropriate!
Our work together has been very important to me, my family and our cats! Alana’s insights on behavior, and the placement, size, and location of cat resources has allowed us to continue to own multiple cats, prevent behavioral issues and resolve tension between kitties (and between people)!

Sam & Sophie
“No further attacks on Sophie by Sam”
I just wanted to follow up with you on Sam and Sophie. They’re doing very well. No further attacks on Sophie by Sam, and Sophie is no longer hiding and acting like the victim. Sam can still get entranced by his reflection, but we’ve been very successful with distracting him when that happens. He no longer howls or hisses at his reflection or at Sophie. We’ve changed our screened porch so he is not able to see ground level easily, and there’s been no encounters with the outdoor cat so far (Sam’s been in and out on the porch for the past few weeks). We don’t let him on the porch unless we’re around, so we can watch for problems. Thank you again for all your help.
~ Sharyn Kazarian, Sam & Sophie, Massachusetts
Monty & Abe
“…things are 99% better than last year when I contacted you!”
I was just thinking of how grateful that I am for my cats to be getting along so I thought I’d send you a picture of them. I continue to practice the techniques you mentioned. They do still have friendly fights (for the most part, and I break it up as necessary), but also sleep near each other quite often. So I’d say things are 99% better than last year when I contacted you. I never lived with cats that acted that way towards each other so I was so grateful for your input. Thank you again. ~ Nicole Lee, Monty & Abe, Vermont
Biscuit & Gravy
“You’ve given us a lot of insight…”
…we have seen much improvement with Biscuit and Gravy since our call!…I have noticed much less fighting, and they have even started playing together again in a way that they haven’t been for quite a while. They love the tunnels for both avoidance and play-time. Gravy is acting a lot more confident than she was before. Grooming usually ends amicably now instead of violently. A few days ago they took a nap together for about an hour on one of their high-up beds (see picture).
The call was super helpful. You’ve given us a lot of insight into what has been going on between them. Thank you from all of us! ~ Leo Westebbe, Robin Heard, Biscuit & Gravy, Massachusetts
Colby & Alani
“Colby and Alani are getting along like they did when they were younger!”
I wanted to write to you to give you and update and to THANK YOU for all of your help! Aside from a few warranted smacks to Colby’s face, Colby and Alani are getting along like they did when they were younger! They play and chase, but all fun and games! They have even stated to cuddle again!! I’ve attached a picture of the two of them yesterday evening at my moms before I brought them back to Hoboken with me! Each visit to my moms there would be less drama. It was a lot of work, but what I found worked the most was letting Alani roam freely through the house with Colby put in a room. Boosting her confidence made a world of difference! Thank you again so much for your help!!
~ Jillian Torzewski, Colby & Alani, New Jersey
Opal
“Your services were well worth it.”
I also want to to tell you opal is sleeping in my bed AND upon awakening she climbs on my chest and we cuddle…The hissing is still there, but no pouncing. Your services were well worth it.
~ Susan and Jessica Messina & Opal, Massachusetts
Rocky
“Rocky has not had any accidents”
Everything has been going great with Rocky since Alana visited us and Rocky has not had any accidents. I switched her litter boxes to be bigger and have been playing with her on my bed regularly.
I had trouble pinpointing what exactly was causing Rocky to pee outside of the litter box. Alana helped with strategies to improve the litter box situation, strategies to deter Rocky, and what to look for to determine if it is a behavioral or a medical issue the next time she pees (which hasn’t happened yet!). ~ Susan Roberts & Rocky, Massachusetts
Hope & Kk
“You definitely saved my sanity & my house.”
…things are continuing to go well. Hope consistently goes in the box in the office. The cats seem to be getting more comfortable having each other around. There have been no fights or growling. Twice when Hope has been running from the living room into the dining room she has startled Kk who has hissed at her. They look at each other for a few seconds, but then they both just go their own ways. Lately when she comes out to the dining room & he is on the table & sees her he meows at her, but doesn’t approach her. It almost seems like he’s making a friendly overture. She will look at him but then just goes back to doing whatever it is that she was doing. I’ve been giving them a lot of positive attention when they are in the room together.
Hope continues to spend a lot of time with me in my office & the living room. She actually seems to seek me out much more during the day than she did. I haven’t tried picking her up yet, but have worked with increased petting & schooching during treat time. Thanks so much for all the help that you’ve given me. I really appreciate it. You definitely saved my sanity & my house. 🙂 ~ Marisa Baronas, Hope & Kk, Massachusetts
Nibbler
“Your recommendations were ‘spot on’!!”
Nibbler is doing so much better!! He seems much calmer and happier since your visit!! Your recommendations were ‘spot on’!! I have even told the animal hospital how great your visit was and your expertise. Changing his litter from kitchen ‘did the trick so to speak’! He loves, loves the clay fresh step litter and we have been able to take away the extra litter box from both upstairs and downstairs. I feed him more wet food, and he is urinating a lot more than before!! He also likes the fountains both upstairs and downstairs!! We can’t thank you enough, Alana!!! We both feel very fortunate to have found you!! You are passionate, knowledgeable, and you care (which is great in this ‘weird world’ right now)!!!! My daughter has also benefited from your suggestions for her rescue kitty, Spencer residing in Queens, NY – my ‘grand kitty’!!😸
~ Cathy Leader & Nibbler, Massachusetts
Leo
“It’s so crazy the changes we have seen so quickly…”
Things are remarkably better since we last spoke. Leo is so much calmer and able to focus more now that he is free fed…We have not needed to separate ourselves or him in a different room since we talked, and he now sleeps in one of our beds every night. It is so crazy the changes we have seen so quickly just by giving him more food and making some changes to his environment…He seems more content now and able to have more meaningful play and cuddle moments. Thank you for all of your information and tips provided. ~Michelle Laverriere & Leo, Massachusetts
Mando & Revan
“I wanted to share a landmark with you.”
This afternoon as Revan is on a cat tree sleeping, Mando is on the floor below and I see him staring but I let it play out. Mando then climbs up and puts his head in front of Revan, sniffs each other’s noses and Mando licks Revan’s forehead for a few licks before retreating.
More good news is I feel they handle themselves okay enough to leave them with full access either when I’m sleeping or I’m out of the home. If I’m out but my girlfriend is at home she tells me Mando will sit next to her and she hears the other cats do their own things. Or I’ve come to times where cats are sleeping in every which location (but not Mando in the same room) and not limited to their safe spaces. ~ Chison Liu, Mando, Revan, Meetra & HK , Burlington, MA
Jenny, Tippitai, & Hazel
“Thank you again for saving our sanity!”
“The cats are still using their litter box with no problems or messes and it’s awesome!!!! There’s no marking of the hallway rug or outside the bathroom any more and no pee outside the litter boxes. We even went away for 2 days at a time here and there and the person checking on our cats had no issues either! Strangely this is the best feeling ever! Thank you again for saving our sanity!”

Kittybear & Zozo
“I’m so grateful for Alana’s help…”
A couple of weeks after I adopted Kittybear, he began biting me. The biting progressed until he was regularly biting my face and attacking my arm. That’s when I contacted Alana. During her visit Alana taught me a lot about cat development, why Kittybear was biting, and what I could do to help the situation. After the consultation, Kittybear’s behavior with me improved. Alana taught me ways to respond to Kittybear so he wouldn’t be so play-aggressive with me. Alana also recommended I adopt another kitty for Kittybear.
A month later, I decided to follow her advice. Alana assisted me with what type of cat to adopt who would be right for Kittybear and how to introduce them so they would become friends. She guided me on the age, size, sex, and temperament I should look for. When I brought Zozo home, we had a phone consultation. Alana taught me how to integrate the kittens and what signs of progress I should see.
Thanks to Alana’s help, Zozo and Kittybear became comfortable with each other very quickly. They wrestle with each other every day, and also groom each other and play. Kittybear hasn’t bitten me at all since I brought Zozo home. I’m so grateful for Alana’s help, for teaching me about how to better relate to Kittybear, opening me up to the idea of getting another kitten, guiding me to Zodiac, and helping to ensure that they got along great together. Not a day goes by when I’m not thankful that Zozo came into our lives. We’re a very happy family!
~ Beth Dayton, Kittybear & Zozo, Massachusetts
Ron
“The aggressiveness and biting while petting is 100% better”
The aggressiveness and biting while petting is 100% better. The tips for being passive definitely helped a lot. We’re doing much better at playing and exploring new toys/cat trees and their placements in the house (he really likes the cat trees being near the windows). We’re still working on the meowing, but I think overall the changes are slowly seeing some improvement. We’re doing SO much better. And even if there are days where the meowing or his pent-up energy is high, at least now I know why, I can read his body language much better, and can calmly try to improve the situation. Thank you so much! ~ Katie Berlin & Ron, Massachusetts
Dinah
“I wanted to thank you for your time and help…”
I wanted to thank you for your time and help with our pet issues.
At this point, the gates are up, the boxes in place, pheromones plugged in, and Dinah is using the boxes!
Yeah! Too bad I didn’t call you sooner.

Dotty
“It is going really well – your advice has worked!”
It is going really well – your advice has worked! Dotty hasn’t pooped in the doorway since we moved the litter box. She is drinking more water too now that we moved it which is really good!
Thank you!
~ Megan Mueller & Dotty, Massachusetts
Asha
“Alana’s advice has been invaluable …”
Alana’s advice has been invaluable in helping Asha become less anxious and happier in her environment. Asha was rescued off the street and had to be declawed because she constantly attacked people and animals. She has been living with me for one year and now enjoys being brushed and petted. She also enjoys playing with string toys, which in the beginning she found too frightening to do. She still doesn’t tolerate other cats well, but she continues to become more relaxed each day. I am grateful to have her in my life and grateful for Alana’s assistance in helping us develop a better relationship. ~ Kim A. & Asha, Massachusetts
Renny, Vinnie, Maui & Penny
“We are a much more harmonious family now!”
I first met Alana when she was doing a seminar on cat behavior at a local shelter where I volunteer. I was so impressed with her in-depth knowledge and insight of cat behavior I asked her to help me and my husband with our four cats (3 blind and one three-legged) who were not getting along at the time. She spent two hours at our house analyzing their interactions and explained why there were issues. It was like a light bulb being switched on.
As soon as I understood the “why” behind the behavior and followed her recommendations the negative behaviors started to diminish. We are a much more harmonious family now!

Teddy
“Alana was a great help…”
Alana was a great help when my cat Teddy, a full-bred Burmese, was a kitten. Although we had previously had full grown shelter cats, Teddy was our first kitten and we were completely unprepared for his scratching and attacking us as though we were prey items. Alana came to the house and explained to me how to redirect Teddy’s kitten energy away from me so he would no longer attack us. We then invited Alana back to help us train Teddy to use a leash and harness. Alana helped us pick a good harness for Teddy and to get him comfortable using it. Teddy is now a known fixture in our neighborhood as the cat who takes his humans for a walk.
We again consulted Alana when we decided to move Teddy’s box from the upstairs bathroom to the basement. Initially Teddy was having accidents where the old box was, but after Alana helped us pick the right litter box and train Teddy he never had an accident again. Prior to our finding Alana we had thought of giving Teddy away to another family—we can hardly believe we even contemplated that as he is now the center of family, much loved and very loving.
~ Helen Berger & Teddy, Massachusetts
Bilbo & Gandolph
A case of redirected aggression with a happy ending!
My cats had been together for eight years—best of friends. One day, the neighbor’s cat peeked into my apartment through the back door and my cats began fighting horribly with one of them confining the other to hiding under the bed. The fighting was so bad and aggressive they simply had to be separated!!! I was DEVASTATED. I was even more distraught when I read online that it was a case of “redirected aggression” — one cat redirected his aggression from the intruder cat (who escaped in time) to the other cat. Several websites also said that it is a VERY hard situation to resolve and sometimes requires that one cat be placed in a different home. After more than a week, there seemed to be nothing I could do to make things better. I began to lose hope.
Alana came over at 3 pm on a Saturday. By 5 pm (the end of the session), my cats were able to tolerate being in the same room!! I continued with the retraining program exactly as Alana suggested that evening and the next morning in intervals, and to my great surprise and utter joy, after about 7 hours of training in total (i.e., by the early afternoon the next day) all aggression and hissing had stopped and by the late afternoon—so only about 24 hours after Alana left—THEY WERE ONCE AGAIN GROOMING ONE ANOTHER!!! I got my happy cats back!!!!
I am writing this as both of them are lying peacefully next to me. I have met many, many cat people in my life, I worked with an SPCA center, I introduced new cats to households, and I really didn’t think anyone could teach me anything new about how to handle cats. But Alana just blew me away. THANK YOU SO MUCH ALANA, not just from me, but also on behalf of Bilbo and Gandolph! ~ Tal Kenet, Bilbo & Gandolph, Massachusetts

Emma & Charlie
“We’ve definitely had success using the methods you gave us.”
Emma spends a lot more time now on laps or on the bed instead of under it. Charlie and Emma are doing great. They will walk up to each other and touch noses sometimes, or rub their cheeks together.
We finally got to the point where they can be together at night, so we are both back to sleeping in our normal bed (hooray!) Emma is finally using the steps to get up onto the bed. So, good news all around. Thanks so much for all your help! ~ Elizabeth Grimm, Emma & Charlie, Massachusetts
Lily & Sophia
“Alana is a lifesaver!”
“When my kitties, Lily and Sophia, got into a fight one night, it was unusual in its intensity. What was unusual was how Lily continued to react to her big sister, Sophia, for the following hours and days. She was hissing, growling, and hiding to the point where I had to separate them. This was painful to me because they are sisters from the same litter, are very bonded, and have never been apart.
When the behavior continued—as did additional fighting—I started looking for help and found Alana. She had me shoot some video of the behavior, answer some questions, and then we met via Skype. She taught me things about feline behavior I never knew (even after being a cat guardian since I was a child). Not only was it incredibly interesting, she was able to identify the source of the behaviors and gave me the methods I needed to resolve the problems. With a few simple corrections to break the behavior patterns, my girls were back to themselves almost over night. Every now and then, they will get into an argument, but now I know how to break it up and correct through positive reinforcement. And it works every time. Alana is a lifesaver!”
~ Jen Smith, Manchester, New Hampshire
Dora & Nadine
“I called Alana and it changed everything.”
Alana helped me with both my cats, Nadine and Dora. With Alana’s guidance Dora became a new cat and Nadine gained enough confidence to be petted and to be accepting of guests when they’d come to visit. Dora came to me at seven months after living on the streets and being found under the hood of a car. She was a bundle of fear and anxiety. She would become agitated at the slightest noise and did not know how to respond to a loving touch. I had taken Dora to a very well-known veterinarian, who prescribed Prozac, with disastrous results. I called Alana and it changed everything. Through Alana’s methods of positive reinforcement, patience and direction, Dora was able to develop trust and have a sense of peace in her life. Now she is a totally different cat and comes to me every night and waits for me to pick her up and give her a hug.
Alana also helped me with my other cat, Nadine. Nadine came to me from a home where people did not treat her well. Like Dora, she was very fearful of everyone. Alana taught me how to work with Nadine so that she would accept me petting her and so that she would be less fearful of visitors. The same methods that helped Dora also worked with little Nadine, who became much happier and more social, and was a loving companion to all of us. We are very grateful for Alana’s help. ~ Kathy Mitchell, Dora & Nadine, Massachusetts
Butter, Nean & Peanut
“These little things alone have made a huge difference. Thank you so much for all the help.”
Things are going really well. We haven’t found any urine outside of the box since a day or so after meeting with you. Which is absolutely amazing…here are some of the changes we have made to the house so far. We have added two large cat boxes. One downstairs and another upstairs. One with clay litter the other with the grass stuff. They both get used frequently. We’ve also moved the water dished out more and added a water dish next to the sofa. Which they use a lot. We have added cat shelves in the living room. We have a few more to put up still. I’ve attached carpet to the tops of them to make them good to scratch, soft to lay on and provide traction. These little things alone have made a huge difference. Thank you so much for all the help.

Sasha & Lola
“Thanks again for your excellent counsel…”
“Thanks again for your excellent counsel and help in restoring peace to our household! The kitties are doing quite well now. They are affectionate with each other most of the time and despite there still being ups and down in their relationship, the downs are usually mild and transient. Thank you!”
~ Danit Bolotnikoff, Sasha & Lola, Massachusetts
Casey & Sparky
“Alana truly helped me so I could keep both of my cats.”
“I own two rescue cats, Casey and Sparky. Casey was the first. He was lonely and needed a companion so we adopted Sparky. I did not anticipate what a challenge it would be to integrate the two because of Sparky’s aggression towards Casey. I’ve owned many cats and never experienced an extended period of escalating aggression. I thought I might have to return Sparky to the shelter after Casey got a deep wound that took several weeks to heal. I found Alana and contacted her because she uses humane training methods and I thought that the situation could be controlled with reputable, professional help.
Alana did not live in the immediate area that I lived in, but she was able to advise me using several methods. Alana read questionnaires I filled out, watched videos I took and consulted with me on Skype. Her assessment of the situation, including why Sparky was acting aggressively towards Casey, was extremely helpful. She made recommendations on steps I should immediately take to improve the situation. Sparky’s aggression lessened and Casey’s confidence improved after I followed Alana’s advice. Alana met with me again on Skype for additional support while I was reintroducing them. Today, the cats get along so much better. I also know what steps I should to take to maintain peace. Alana truly helped me so I could keep both of my cats.”
~ Karen Fontaine, Massachusetts
Slingshot
“You visited our home…and things have been a lot calmer since.”
“You visited our home in Arlington last July, and things have been a lot calmer since. She’s been sleeping in our bed (actually letting us sleep now, after a challenging week or two when she mostly wanted to play), and we think that has helped her form a more relaxed bond with us. Thank you for that and all of the other advice.”
~ Faye and Greg Plesur & Slingshot, Massachusetts
Percy & Loki
“I can’t tell you how happy we all are to have our happy home back.”
“I just wanted to update you and let you know that the boys are doing great. There haven’t been any issues with Percy in probably about two weeks now. We made it through the fireworks without too many issues-of course they were a little bit scared but who wouldn’t be. he hasn’t been triggered by the back door or the catio all, and he and Loki have been getting along fantastic and playing every day. Thank you for all of your help! I can’t tell you how happy we all are to have our happy home back.”
~ Randi Dwan, Percy & Loki, Massachusetts
Jordan
“Thank you for all of your help, we are so excited!”
Jordan’s responded very well to the feather and will let us pet her with it for a long time which is so exciting!
We hope to eventually upgrade to our hands. We also found out she loves cheese so that’s been our high reward treat!
We will keep sending updates as she improves! Thank you for all of your help, we are so excited!

Milo & Max
“…the second we started positive reinforcement with Milo he did great!”
“They are much better. We have figured out Max is being a bit over sensitive and it sets off their whole dynamic. We got some vertical shelves and beds off etsy and they are loving them. We do not need to constantly be watching them. Max when he has had too much playtime puts himself in time out (under bed) but he is hardly growling or staying there for long. He seems medically fine more just grumpy. Ill watch him though.
