Alana Stevenson provides cat and kitten training online and in-person. Learn how to positively teach your cat or new kitten and the best feeding and play strategies for your cat’s behavioral health. Understand how to enrich and manage the environment to prevent feline behavior problems.

Cat Training

• Teach your cat to respond to her name and come to you.
• Accurately interpret your cat’s body language
• Pick up, carry, and hold your cat comfortably
• Brush and handle your cat and trim your cat’s nails with less stress
• Acclimate your cat to a carrier 
• Leash- and harness-train your cat
• Teach appropriate play skills
• Lessen mouthing and biting and teach bite inhibition
• Choose the best litter boxes and litter box locations
• Choose better cat toys, scratching posts, and the best cat trees

Virtual Cat & Kitten Training

Online cat and kitten training is 1-3 hours and conducted by FaceTime, Zoom, or Google Meet. Other platforms may be used. You will receive the same professional one-on-one insight and guidance as in-person sessions. Clients fill out a Feline Behavior Questionnaire before the meeting. Video clips of the home environment and any behavior problems are also requested.
